Spending time outside under the night-sky is a unique and fantastic experience! Nienna was started to provide you with the means to stargazing to the utmost degree, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced amateur astronomer of many decades.

We manufacture telescopes and accessories in our workshop in Skara, Sweden. No matter if you are looking for a ready-made solution or want something custom made for your specific requirements, we can help you.

Nienna's founder Patrick Woitala has been an active amateur astronomer since 1996. Soon after the new millennium he built his first telescopes. For the next 20 years this was on hold since Patrick worked for several well-known astronomy retailers, first in Germany and then in Sweden. This allowed him to gather a lot of in depth experience with products available in the market, which he is now using in the design of new, unique solutions. The idea behind Nienna is to not have "yet another product", but rather to develop solutions that solve unique problems or which are otherwise "outside the box".
